Bought a Silverado from them. Three days later go outside and there is a huge transmission leak. Brought it back up there they replaced the transmission pan gasket as it was still under warranty. Goes on for about a week and then the same problem occurs. Called them and they were tied up and acted like it wasn’t a big deal till they could get me in. Tightened the pan bolts up myself and went for about a month and then the same issue all over again.. called the shop and told them and again they were too busy so I tightened them up again and added more fluid. I left the house one night and just got on the road when the transmission hot light comes on. Check the fluids and it was normal so I sat on the side of the interstate in the rain till it cooled down and drive it home. Next morning I bring it in to the shop to have them look at it and showed them it was leaking again from the night before and the put it on stand pulled the pan and put a new gasket on it and saw the wiring harness to the transmission was leaking and instead of replacing they jimmy rigged it and told me it was done. Wife went and picked it up that night and I drove it home from work and it begins to slip not even 5 hours after they fixed it and it had sat at my work this whole time. Called them the next morning they acted like I was a fool mind you I’m a ASE Certified mechanic and told them I am bringing it in so I don’t end up burning it up. Brought it in the old guy there acted like I was a moron and tried to get me to turn my tow/haul package on the interstate to try and force the transmission into overdrive. Brought it back and was told it needed to go to the transmission shop. They took it to Aamco and mind you I’ve been without a truck for over a week now and instead of helping pay for the cost of the transmission since it’s been a issue from day one they flat out tell me they have no recollection of it ever being in their shop for that reason. Excuse me what about purchase records and vehicle maintenance reports??? All said and done the only way I could pick up my truck is if I paid the full $1400 bill or the finance it for me and I pay it out on top of my monthly payment... number one I have all proof of when the first time I brought it in, two don’t call me a liar and three if they worked on it that day and it went out that day then seems very fishy to me... won’t ever recommend another person there
