Looking for vinyl flooring. Stopped in and spoke with a very well informed lady working in that section. Wish we had gotten her name. Got lots of good info, from friendly staff.
Ordered a fridge with specific install directions. Was told no problem several times by the salesman. Got a call the day before to schedule delivery. Told them once again what would have to be done, again no problem. Got a call the day of delivery that it was against company policy to complete install as requested but they would try a different way. Their way didn't work. Told them to take the fridge back to the store as it was the day before thanksgiving and we had no where to store it and no one to install it. Called ans filed complaint with corporate, was told I would get a phone call from the store in 72 hours. Fast forward to Tuesday when I check my account to find they credited the fridge back to our account; also still no call from the store. Called corporate again. They called the store and had them call me within minutes. All local could tell me was that they didn't know who returned it without my authorization but I would have to come back to the store to purchase the fridge again. I was only offered an apology. After I receive the fridge, my purchases with Lowe's with be no more. Horrible experience. Sadly I use to enjoy it getting all our renovation supplies there.
Internet order with in store pick up. Process went very smoothly. Huge kudos for Lowes improvement in this area.
Employees at Van Buren Lowe's are always helpful and knowledgeable and have always helped us with every project we've had for our house.
Sadly, what we picked was already on back order. Ended up at s store in Bentonville, TERRIBLE service there. Made staff at Van Buren and Fayetteville look like rock-stars, which they were!
Purchased dishwasher and OTR microwave at 3:00 pm on Sunday, 6/18, and was told that installer would call me on Monday to set up installation. When I did not receive a call by 5:00 Monday, I called, and talked to Sam who was no help, and did not seem to understand the situation. Then I received a voice mail from dept manager (believe Jason) stating it would be up to 48 hours before an installer would call. When I did not receive a call by Wednesday noon, I called and talked to acting store manager (believe Todd) who stated I called the wrong person, but finally said he would check into it, and call me right back - never called back. Kathy from River Valley called me Wednesday afternoon and said Lowe's had given her the wrong number - she was very professional, and my dishwasher was installed on Thursday. Friday, installer for microwave called. Stated he has been given the wrong number, and could install my microwave today. Lowe's leadership, this was my experience with your competitor, Sears. I bought a French door refrigerator on Sunday 6/18 at 2:00 pm. At the time of purchase, I was told it would be delivered Tuesday, and was given a two-hour window. My new refrigerator was delivered at 9:15 Tuesday. Where do you think I will buy my next big ticket item?
