The city has wonderful rich history and this facility showcases that history. The buildings are quaint and beautiful. Shopping is also a big thing here. Wonderful place
I love this place! We went on the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad’s Excursion Train ride to Winslow and back. I would say if you were planning on going on the train ride that this is the BEST place to start. Downtown Van Buren is a great area. And the visitors center's building is really nice and historic.
This town seems to struggling with lots of closed up building in this area. Other than a couple of cute little shops the rest was antique stores, which was not what I was hoping for. Really hard to get something to eat. We were there for about an hour longer than I cared for.

Very friendly town. We had a great time and they have a wealth of information on Arkansas. Free Trolley ride ect. Better than expected. Oh. Cute gift shops.
